Ruyāg is a direct manufacturer of handicrafts specializing fibres endemic to Albay, our province such as -- abaca, raffia and bancuan (seagrass)Ruyāg - named after a local term in Bicol (Gubat, Sorsogon) which means "Excitement". Ruyāg serves a a constant reminder to find a joy amidst the challenging times.

Our Community
Ruyāg community does not own large production spaces. We take pride in cultivating "grassroots weavers." Since most of our weavers are fathers and mostly mothers, we allow them to work at the comfort of their homes where they can take good care of their family's needs while trying to earn a living.
